Kris Michel

Career Advisor

Kris Michel is from Mellen, WI and has been the TRiO Coordinator, Student Support Services at GCC since August 2018.  She graduated from Northland College, Ashland, WI with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mathematics, a Psychology minor, and a Teaching Degree.  Kris is also a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant. 

In her spare time she LOVES to travel and suffers from Notriphobia, the fear of not having her next trip booked.  She also enjoys spending time with family, especially her husband and daughter, riding her motorcycle, going boating, and riding her snowmobile and is currently serving as the Secretary of the Penokee Mountain Range Riders, our local snowmobile club.  Kris has always liked sports, playing volleyball, basketball, and softball in high school and volleyball in college. She enjoys watching and attending Green Bay Packer Football games and going to baseball games.  Kris also works at the Mellen High School, line judging for volleyball games and running the score clock for basketball games to stay involved with local sports.  Come see Kris in ACES for more information about our TRiO SSS Program at GCC.
