Overview
Monica Benson
Monica brings extensive experience in leadership development, workforce training,
and organizational strategy across industries including plastics, electronics, and
industrial equipment manufacturing. She specializes in helping emerging and existing
leaders build practical skills for success, drawing on her background in quality and
production management.
In addition to her workforce leadership experience, Monica serves as an instructor
for the Lead with Excellence series, where she guides participants through hands-on,
skills-based learning to strengthen leadership capabilities. Originally from Wisconsin,
Monica graduated from the University of Wisconsin–Eau Claire and later made the Upper
Peninsula her home. She is passionate about supporting individuals and organizations
in ways that contribute to personal growth and regional success.
When she’s not teaching or working, you’ll often find her exploring Lake Superior’s
trails, waterfalls, and shoreline, or taking in the breathtaking scenery of the UP.
