Have you filled out your 2019-2020 FAFSA for the current academic year, which began in August, 2019? Students began submitting FAFSA's October 1, 2018. You need to file a new FAFSA every year you are enrolled in school.
The financial aid process takes 4-6 weeks to complete and you need to give staff ample time to serve you in the best possible way. You are considered a late filer if you submit your FAFSA after June 1, 2019. Don't delay, file today.
Are you planning on attending summer school? The 2020 summer school application is now available in the GCC Financial Aid Office as well as on the GCC website. You are required to complete this application as well as have a 2019-2020 FAFSA on file with GCC in order to be considered for summer school financial aid. Upon receipt of your application, the GCC Financial Aid Office will review your file and send you a summer school financial aid proposal.
If you have not attended college this past year and have not yet filled out a 2019-2020 FAFSA, you need to complete this application as soon as possible. (In addition, you also need to submit a 2020-21 FAFSA for the upcoming academic year, which begins in August.)
