Financial Aid Information
Have you filled out your 2020-2021 FAFSA for the next academic year, which begins in August, 2020? Students began submitting FAFSA's October 1, 2019. You need to file a new FAFSA every year you are enrolled in school.
The financial aid process takes 4-6 weeks to complete and you need to give staff ample time to serve you in the best possible way. You are considered a late filer if you submit your FAFSA after June 1, 2020. Don't delay, file today.
Are you planning on attending summer school? The 2020 summer school application is now available in the GCC Financial Aid Office as well as on the GCC website. You are required to complete this application as well as have a 2019-2020 FAFSA on file with GCC in order to be considered for summer school financial aid. You can complete your 2019-2020 FAFSA at studentaid.gov.
Upon receipt of your application, the GCC Financial Aid Office will review your file and send you a summer school financial aid proposal.
If you have not attended college this past year and have not yet filled out a 2019-2020 FAFSA, you need to complete this application as soon as possible. (In addition, you also need to submit a 2020-21 FAFSA for the upcoming academic year, which begins in August.)
COVID-19 Relief Aid Application
All Federal Financial Aid eligible students enrolled in courses in the Summer 2020 and Fall 2020 semesters will receive COVID-19 Relief Aid based on their enrolled credits. If you believe that you will require additional aid, fill out the form below and return it to the Financial Aid Office.
