Student Services
The Student Personnel Services at Gogebic Community College include admissions, orientation, student registration and records, assessment, counseling (academic, career, and special needs), financial aid, veterans services, housing, learning support services, handicapped/disabled assistance, job placement, student government, student activities, intramural sports and varsity athletics.
PHILOSOPHY
The philosophy underlying the Student Personnel Services Program at Gogebic is to provide those services and experiences which will promote and contribute to the total development of students and their success in reaching their educational or vocational goals. Emphasis is placed upon students, their welfare and the means used by the administration, faculty and the governing board to meet the needs of students in their intellectual, vocational, personal, social and spiritual aspirations.
