Phi Theta Kappa has a plan or guide that allows chapters to earn benefits.  This year, our chapter has set the goal at the Three Start Level.  To attain this we must...

The advisor and chapter president have a resource packet.

The current chapter bylaws are on file at the Headquarters.

College president letters are sent to eligible members.

Five star goal is set and Chapter Goal Form is submitted.

A new member orientation is held.

An orientation for new chapter leaders is held.

At least two induction ceremonies are held and the members’ names and fees are submitted to Headquarters.

The new Chapter officer names are submitted to Headquarters.

The chapter and/or chapter officers meet twice a month.

Worked with sister chapter or with a campus organization.

Chapter enrolls in the Pinnacle Scholarship Award Program.

Representatives must participate in the International Convention, International Honors Institute, Regional Honors Institute or Satellite Seminars.

At least three activities on the Honors Study Topic (Popular Culture) must be implemented.

At least three activities on the International Service Program (Conquering Cancer) must be implemented.

The chapter must publish a newsletter, maintain a website, or send a press release.

The chapter must compete for at least two regional awards and one International Hallmark award.

The chapter must provide its members with additional information on progress.

The chapter must chronicle activities for historical purposes.
