Nursing Instructor
Gogebic Community College seeks candidates for this full-time instructional assignment in Ironwood, which begins in August 2010. Course load will include a range of nursing courses with emphasis on maternal-child. The position is responsible for related curriculum development, student advising, and other professional responsibilities. This is a tenure track position.
Qualifications
The preferred candidate will have a Masters Degree in Nursing from a regionally accredited college or university (as recognized by the U.S. Department of Education); a minimum of two years full-time work experience in a nursing environment; recognize, accept, and adhere to the community college mission and philosophy; teaching experience; experience in the use of personal computer applications; and demonstrated ability and working knowledge of nursing. Additionally, the preferred candidate will have strong interpersonal communication skills, commitment to educational qualities and exhibit participation in community and professional organizations. The preferred candidate will be required to show proof of RN licensure/eligibility in the State of Michigan and have CPR certification.
