Adjunct Instructors 2010-2011 Academic Year

Gogebic Community College seeks qualified adjunct faculty to teach during fall 2010 and spring 2011 semesters. Teaching assignments are for day, afternoon, and evening classes at both the Ironwood campus and the Copper Country (Houghton) campus. Specifically, instructors are needed to teach: English Composition 1 & II, Beginning Algebra, Basic Chemistry, Meteorology, Physical Science, General and Organic Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology (also online), Introduction to Computer Game Design, 3D Game Programming I & II, Microeconomics, Principles of Public Utility Operations I, Cost Accounting (online), and Introduction to FORTAN.

Must have earned degree and relevant experience in area of interest. Prior college teaching experience a plus.

The following items are required from all Adjunct Faculty applicants before being considered for a position at Gogebic Community College:

  3. Undergraduate and graduate transcripts-copies are sufficient for application; official transcripts must be submitted upon hiring.
  4. Completed Gogebic Community College Application for Employment.
  5. Completed Adjunct Faculty Qualifications Form.
