This survey is designed to help you decide if you are a good candidate for either a distance learning class (over the Internet) or for a class that uses Internet enhanced elements. Online courses are not ideally suited to every student's learning style. However, some courses may only be offered online. This survey should help give you a good idea of the skills you will need to acquire or to improve for a successful online experience.

For the most part, there are no right or wrong answers to the questions below. This is not a test or a prerequisite for enrolling in an online course. However, your rating and the question explanations that follow should give you an idea of the skills a successful online student will need. You should also get an idea of what you can expect to encounter in an online course. Skipping questions will lower your overall rating. You may take the survey as many times as you wish.
