MCCVLC Enrollment Steps
Welcome to Gogebic Community College! Your enrollment request for MCCVLC class/es has been received by the Registrar's Office. The college's procedures for enrollment and payment are described below:
Home School Designation - In order to register for Gogebic Community College courses through the MCCVLC, you must be admitted to a Michigan Community College. The primary college of admission will then be called your "Home" college.
Admissions Office - The admissions office will send you an email requesting additional information that is necessary to process your registration request. You will be given a due date for response. If you do not respond by that date, your registration request will be cancelled.
Registrar's Office - If necessary, you may receive an email from the Registrar's Office that addresses prerequisites or other relevant academic advising issues. It is your responsibility to respond to all email inquiries in a timely manner.
- Once all information is received and your registration request is approved, the Registrar's Office will register you in your requested class/es.
- Once registered, a will receive a Statement of Charges via email from the Business Office to make payment.
- Once registered, you will also receive an electronic confirmation from the MCCVLC.
- If a course you have requested is filled, you will be notified by the Registrar's Office.
- Once registration is fully completed, including payment for all charges, you will receive an email welcoming you to the class/es. At that time, you will also be given login instructions and information about how to purchase your books.
Payment Procedure - Gogebic Community College's payment policy requires payment in full at the time of registration. If payment is not received in five calendar days, you will be dropped from your class/es. If seeking Financial Aid, you need to contact your home college. Please contact Mary Beth in the College's Business Office (1-800-682-5910 ext 205) with questions regarding your Statement of Charges or to make payment using a credit card.
